( screened to Hikaru, Shiten, and Kirihara )I was thinking about what Kura said lately, I've been planning an event, and both of these things kinda go hand in hand. And so, in spirit of both my former captain and doubles partner, I've decided to collect donations for tennis equipment and supplies. If you happen to have any spare racquets, string, balls, dampeners, grip tape, overgrip, bags (especially multi-racquet bags), etc, that you don't mind parting with, please donate! I'm also accepting monetary donations that I'm gonna put toward buying a few ball carts, junior/training tennis balls, and other miscellaneous supplies that aren't collected through the equipment donations.
Ultimately it's gonna be donated to an organization that helps support kids who wouldn't otherwise have the monetary ability to play tennis. Let me know if you want any verification of the organization or anything. I can forward you the email from the team I'm working with. ヽ(・∀・)ノ
I have some drop boxes set up at Toudai, or you can come bring them to my place. (It'd be awesome if you guys can set up boxes at Basil and Mikiya, too! I'll come pick 'em up. ACTUALLY! I'll come to your house and pick stuff up too if that helps!) I would really appreciate anything you guys can donate to the cause. ♥ Even if you no longer play or how you may feel about it after competing, I think we can all agree that it's not only a sport for life, but it's also an amazing gateway to create lifelong friendships. We wouldn't all be here otherwise, right? ☆ ~('▽^人)
My main goal is to collect everything before the 27th, but I can take donations at any time after that, too, so just when you're able to would be great~
And last, but definitely not least: IT'S EXAM TIME. HELP ME.
